Tokn does not give interviews. There is no biography, no studio visit, no artist statement. What he leaves behind are paintings of unusual emotional weight - works that are difficult to walk past, difficult to forget. A small number of original works are available each year. Tokn personally selects every collector.
The Artist
Nobody knows who Tokn is. That is not an accident.
Somewhere, a painter works without an audience, without a gallery, with simply an alias on the canvas. The anonymity is not a gimmick. It is a conviction – one he has held since the first canvas.
Each painting arrives with words. Not explanation – Tokn has no interest in telling you what you are looking at. Think of it as a door left slightly open. Where it leads depends entirely on who is standing in front of the canvas.
The Art

Tokn works in acrylic and oil on cotton canvas, and small sculptures for private placement. He does not describe his process. He does not explain what a painting is about. You are left alone with the work – which is exactly where he wants you.

Direct-to-Collector Model
No galleries. No intermediaries.
Tokn does not work with galleries. The traditional art world inserts distance between a painting and the person it was made for. He has no interest in that distance.
Every acquisition is personal. Tokn reviews each enquiry himself and decides whether a work is right for a collector – and whether a collector is right for the work. Not every enquiry receives a response. There is no waiting list, no auction, no secondary market strategy. Just a direct conversation between the artist and the person his work will live with.
Each piece leaves his studio once. It goes to a private home, not a gallery wall. Provenance is clear from the first owner.

Yes. Tokn is a real artist and businessman. His identity is private by choice, not by necessity.
Prices range from €20,000 for smaller works to €85,000 for large-scale canvas. Sculptures: €15,000 to €25,000.
Only here. Tokn sells exclusively through this website. He no longer exhibits in galleries or auctions.
He believes the moment you know who made something, you stop truly seeing it. So he removed himself from the equation. What remains is the work.
It is a starting point, not an answer. Tokn writes words for each work – not to explain it, but to open a door. Two people will read the same words and feel entirely different things. That is the intention.
Every work comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Tokn and a unique registration number.
